Vignette is a small illustration or portrait photograph which fades into its background without a definite border.
Minimum Requirement: PS CS4
On following my posts , you would have learnt how to create a "Solid Color" layer and apply "Blending Mode" on a layer.
Step 1: The photo that was given a Vintage effect in my previous post is the same which is going to get vigenetted now.
Step 2: Create a "Solid Color" Layer of your desired dark color.
Now right click the layer and select "Delete layer Mask" option.Step 3 : Select "Ellipse Tool" which is available in "Lasso tool" in the tool bar.
Step 4: Make a selection by Click-and-Drag as me.
Step 5: Change the Feather pixels to a value between 100 and 150.
Step 6: Right-Click -> "Select inverse"
Step 7: Click the mask icon
